Wolverhampton City Centre offers traditional high street shopping with a convenience demanded by modern shoppers, coupled with the benefits of the traditional environment, built around the City’s market (which dates back to the 13th century). Shopping, locally, offers a combination of national chain stores, specialist shops and large department store. Pedestrian streets and two large indoor retail centres, the Mander Shopping Complex and the Wulfrun Shopping Centre, make Wolverhampton a pleasant place for shopping. The pedestrianisation offers a safer access. Shopmobility and the new Disabled Go website ensure that everybody can enjoy shopping in Wolverhampton.
The lively outdoor and indoor markets have been trading since the 13th century and offer a wide range of produce.
